RECIPESSome Summer Recipes:Besides being a flavorful garnish, Sister Julie's Olive Oil can be substituted almost anywhere you would use butter or canola or safflower oil. Here are a few very simple ideas. In the summertime simple is best! TOAST WITH OIL & HERBS: Place slices of bread on a cookie sheet. Brush with Sister Julie's Olive Oil. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and a handful of crushed fresh herbs - thyme, rosemary, basil, cilantro, or whatever you have - and a shake of grated parmesan cheese. Toast under the broiler. A lovely side dish with a barbecued meal. EGGS: Slice a hardboiled egg over toast. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle Sister Julie's Olive Oil over it for a light breakfast or lunch.
